Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
1. The short version
- We do not collect your financial data. We have no server that could hold it.
- The add-on connects to the internet for exactly one purpose: checking a licence key.
- What we do hold is your order record and any emails you send us.
- We do not sell data, run ads, or use anything you give us to train AI models.
2. How the add-on handles your spreadsheet
When you press Build, the add-on reads the two sheets you selected, calculates the comparison in memory, and writes the result into a new sheet in the same document. All of this happens inside Google’s environment, under your own Google account. Nothing is transmitted to us at any point in that process.
Between sessions the add-on stores your preferences — which sheets you chose, the report title, the period — using Google’s own properties storage, attached to your document and your user account. We cannot read that storage.
Google account permissions we request
.../auth/spreadsheets.currentonly
Lets the add-on read and write only the spreadsheet it is open in. It has no access to any other file in your Google Drive.
.../auth/script.container.ui
Lets the add-on show its side panel and menu item inside Google Sheets.
.../auth/script.external_request
Lets the add-on make one outbound request: sending your licence key to our payment provider to confirm it is valid. No spreadsheet content is ever included in that request.
Limited Use disclosure
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it except as required to provide the add-on, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent for support, for security purposes, or where required by law.
3. What we actually receive
When you buy a licence
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. They collect the payment and billing details and act as the controller for that information under their own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
From the order, we receive and keep:
- your name and email address;
- your country, as used for tax purposes;
- the order number, the product bought, and the date;
- your licence key and its activation record.
We use this to issue and verify licences, to provide support, to process refunds, and to keep the accounting records the law requires of us.
When a licence key is checked
The add-on sends the licence key and a fixed device label to our payment provider, which replies with whether the key is valid. That request contains no financial data, no sheet contents, no file names, and no Google account information.
When you email us
We keep your message and our reply so we can follow up and recognise you if you write again. If you choose to attach a spreadsheet to help us reproduce a problem, please remove anything confidential first — we will only ever look at what you deliberately send us, and we delete it once the issue is closed.
On this website
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no analytics. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before it does.
4. Who else is involved
- Google — hosts the add-on and your spreadsheet, under your own Google account.
- Lemon Squeezy — processes payments as Merchant of Record and issues licence keys.
- Our website host — serves these pages.
That is the complete list. We do not share your information with anyone else, and we do not sell it in any circumstances.
5. Where data is held
Our providers operate internationally, so your order information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. We keep the amount of information we hold to the minimum described above.
6. How long we keep it
- Order and licence records — for as long as the licence is valid, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to retain the record.
- Support correspondence — up to two years after the conversation ends.
- Anything you attach to a support email — deleted once the issue is closed.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@classrollup.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your order record also deactivates the licence attached to it, so we will say so before we proceed.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable format, or to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
The strongest protection here is structural rather than technical: we do not hold your financial data, so it cannot be exposed by us. For the order information we do hold, we rely on the access controls of our payment provider and on accounts protected by two-factor authentication.
9. Children
This is a professional accounting tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will email licence holders before it takes effect.
11. Contact
Privacy questions and requests: support@classrollup.com, or write to Boburbek Oripov, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
